Rakesh Mishra

Rakesh Mishra is the Vice President and head of Marketing at Target India. In his role, he leads a group of more than 260 team members who help drive Target’s competitive advantage across various marketing domains.
With more than 24 years of advertising and marketing experience, Rakesh has had the opportunity to create and direct award winning marketing campaigns and has developed a number of new products. Prior to joining Target in 2008, he has worked with leading organizations like Kohinoor Foods, Imageads & Communications and Continental Advertising.
Rakesh holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics, an MBA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management.
He is an avid food enthusiast and has a deep affiliation to Indian mythologies, its relevance to shaping our values and beliefs for a better tomorrow.
