Mridumesh Rai

Mridumesh is a passionate Fashion Retail professional, who seems himself into Consumer Psychographic Business.

In his 16 years of extensive experience across manufacturing and retail, Mridumesh has worked on varied roles like Strategy, Customer Connect, Operations, Merchandising, and P&L ownership. His stints with brands like GAP, The Children’s Place, Next, Debenhams, and Globus has provided him exposure across Indian, European, and American markets.

In his last stint with Arvind Brands, where he was part of GAP India Launch and then took on the role of Chief Operating Officer and India Business Head of The Children’s Place. He led the business from RFP to launch and rapid scaleup across EBO, SIS and ECom. Prior to this he has worked with M H Alshaya, Globus, Piramyd Retail, Arvind Ltd., SRF Limited, and Saint-Gobain Abrasives.

Mridumesh is a PGDM from IIM Calcutta and has also done an Exchange Program in MBA from Instituto de Empresa, Madrid (Spain). He is currently pursuing an Executive PhD in Strategy from XLRI.

Currently employed with Raymond, he leads the Park Avenue Brand Business.

Mridumesh is married to Radhika and they are blessed with a son, Vishesh (11 years) & a daughter, Swasti (6 years). He is passionate about Travelling and is a flirtatious Reader J !
