Rajesh is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Inc.5, a leading multi-brand Footwear company in India. He is responsible for the strategy and execution for Inc. 5 in the areas of sales, marketing, exports and new initiatives. He has to his credit the design of a new format for retail selling in India, which is considered a path-breaking model by the industry experts. Since his joining at Inc.5 he has injected new dynamism into the organisation and has a lead by example Leadership style, which has often awed his colleagues and competitors.
Rajesh has extensive experience in running various trading and retail businesses. He started off right after his education and joined his typical Maharashtrian family business which was trading oils and traditional retail at that time. Later he branched out to start a footwear manufacturing unit along with his friend and ran a fairly successful operation. It was here that his love for this business strengthened and took up the offer to join Inc.5 where he helped put the brand on a strong competitive footing in the industry.
Rajesh holds Bachelors in Commerce from the University and Mumbai and has keen interests in charity especially for children.
Also I have been inducted in the 50 most influential Industry leaders by Asia Retail Congress. Have been awarded at the 2017 Annual Fashion Awards. Also I have been on various discussion panels, at events like India Shoes & Accessories Forum (ISAF) and have received an Images most influential Shoes & Accessories professional of the year Award 2017 , India Retail Forum (IRF), also I am on the selection panel for Welingkar’s Institute of Management for their full time MBA programme. Recently invited for COALESCENCE, IIM Kashipur as the guest speaker for their Annual event.
