With over 14 years of cross-functional experience in strategy, marketing and business development acquired while working in India, China, and Europe, Ankur has worked on interesting and challenging assignments in Retail, FMCG, Consumer Goods and Hospitality. Prior to Technopak, Ankur worked with the Tata Group in operations and consulting roles for nine years. He was the Country Manager in China for Tata International and was responsible for growing the business into new segments in the Fashion and Lifestyle space. He also worked with Tata Quality Management Services (an internal consulting division of the Tata Group) and advised Tata organizations in the consumer products and retail domain on growth, performance improvement, sales strategy, customer segmentation and go-to-market themes. In his last assignment, he was associated with The Lemon Tree Hotel, where he was responsible for conceptualizing the company’s business strategy.
He has an MBA from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK and did his undergraduate studies in Hotel Management from the National Council of Hotel Management, Pusa.
