With 26 years in the Indian Retail sector, she has been instrumental in creating, launching and establishing inspiring brands and retail experiences for Indian consumers.
 
She started her career with Benetton India in the early 90’s, and later worked with Nike, Puma and multiple International Sports brands in Apparel. Footwear, sport licensing, branding, retail, wholesale development and General Management.
 
She moved to the Beauty and Cosmetics industry, launching The Body Shop in India, 14 years ago. In the last decade, The Body Shop’s growth has been exceptionally fast paced and dynamic. Under Shriti, the brand has expanded and penetrated a vast market across Metro cities, tier 1, 2, 3 and even tier 4 cities along with very successful digital footprint, E Com expansion and a multi-channel presence. Market penetration, customer contact strategy along with a vast loyalty and social base has been at the heart of the business success.
 
The Body Shop is today the largest International Beauty retailer in India, with a defining voice and presence across channels, a physical retail dominance in 85 cities, a rapidly developing Brand own e-commerce business that extends Brand reach to 2500 cities
and towns and to millions of beauty consumers and aspirants.
