Akash has launched over 100 outlets across malls, high streets, airports, and other retail channels. He also serves as an advisor to BIMTECH and contributes to NSDC, while actively speaking at leading retail industry forums.
Aman Abdullah is the Director of Market99, a leading value retail chain in India. He studied Retail Management at Loughborough University, followed by International Finance, building a strong foundation in business and retail operations. Aman joined the family business in 2007 when it operated just two stores under the brand Store99. In 2017, the brand was reimagined as Market99, which has since grown to over 100 company-owned stores nationwide.
At Market99, he oversees IT systems, business development, projects, logistics, warehousing, and front-end operations, playing a key role in driving efficiency and expansion. Anand Baldawa is an entrepreneur and business leader based in Mumbai, India. He serves as the CEO and Director of the Seeba Group of Companies and is the Founder of thinKitchen®, a premium kitchenware and home products platform serving both consumers and hospitality businesses across India.
A rank-holder Chartered Accountant and an MBA graduate from New York University’s Stern School of Business, Anand began his career in international finance and advisory, working with global firms including Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Lehman Brothers, and Robert W. Supermarketwala’ Damodar Mall is an icon of Indian retail with over three decades of experience shaping modern trade and consumer businesses. As CEO – Grocery Retail at Reliance Retail, he leads one of the country’s largest grocery operations, driving scale, profitability, and innovation across formats. In 1999, Damodar Mall graduated from selling soap at Hindustan Unilever to selling salt and sugar as promoter of the Apna Bazar franchises at Navi Mumbai and Thane, with R K Damani as the angel investor.
